Hey! I’m Wit.

If you like my writing, you can buy me a coffee, find me on ao3 or tiktok! Feel free to send me prompts or asks, and I don’t mind you asking about my WIP’s.

No, my fics are not abandoned, promise! I might lose motivation, but as long as they’re still posted I intend on coming back and updating.

My favorite part of writing is creating female characters that I KNOW audiences will fucking despise. This is Lyla, she’s a Duchess that the Main Character got disowned for sleeping with, and her hobbies are bitching, gossiping, and being crucified by audiences everywhere. She’s my favorite little blorbo and I am rotating her in my mind.

day of black sun is so juicy when it comes to sokka & hakoda’s relationship because right off the bat we see a key difference between them - sokka fumbles explaining the invasion plan, while hakoda slides easily into the role of inspiring leader. obviously hakoda’s had more experience, but giving inspiring speeches is a katara trait, so to me this is a way in which hakoda & katara are more similar than hakoda & sokka. sokka is trying to be hakoda, and hakoda sees that and is trying to give him what he wants. but ultimately, they’re different, and that becomes painfully clear.

but then later, when hakoda is injured, he tries to push through it and return to the invasion because he knows his people need him, and that is extremely sokka of him. putting aside his personal comfort and needs to serve others, not wanting people to see him hurt. is it any wonder, then, that that’s when sokka steps into hakoda’s shoes and succeeds? that willingness to do what must be done to protect their people is what they have in common.

in general, i think sokka’s moments of strength are more in front of a map than on a battlefield. but aang was right in general, that sokka’s strength isn’t in speaking and inspiring, it’s in doing. and that’s where he can be like his father. not in the image of hakoda, the inspiring strong leader, but in the real person who sacrifices for others, and will do anything to protect the people he loves

evan buckley loves to go, “i wish someone would see me for who i am :(” as though he doesn’t have a best friend who knows the most niche facts about him and can understand exactly who he is and why he does everything he does

eddie diaz loves to go, “i wish i had a partner to go through life with :(” as though his best friend whom he trusts more than anything isn’t practically helping him to raise is son and is acting as his partner in literally every sense of the word

The thing is. They were in love. They were in love. They were in love.

The best thing about showing 911 to new people is that no matter how much you try to explain Buddie’s homoerotic subtext no one, and I mean NO ONE, is prepared for Eddie’s introduction scene.
